The world's most vain social networking site Beautiful People is known for tossing people out for being overweight and unattractive. Now it has asked its members to rate the top places to find beautiful people.
Top honours goes to places in Brazil, southern California, south Florida, Spain, Italy...Canada, however, did not make the list. Apparently they did not look deeply enough.
BeautifulPeople.com launched in 2002 and went global in October. There are about 25,000 Canadians among the 550,000 members from across the world. According to owners of the domain, a majority of successful new members come from Brazil.
Members of the site get to rate each other based on photographs. However, when people meet each other in person often the real image does not match the picture which has caused problems. "It's like people in MENSA failing an intelligence test. It's just not tolerated."
